BBC mistakes cab driver for web pundit

The BBC wanted to interview Newswireless.net editor Guy Kewney about the Apple music / Apple computer decision but accidentally pulled his cab driver onto the set for a live TV interview.

When you watch the interview and see the way the poor guy manages to play along with all the questions, you can learn quite a bit about how journalism is supposed to work, and how it’s not. Although he clearly has no clue, he manages to answer every question perfectly by repeating it because the interviewer asks very leading questing. Journalism students, pay attention!

Well, it’s also pretty darn funny: Watch the video. [via BoingBoing]
