Looking at the recent launches, betas and new services, I think three stand out, in a way: Joost, ’cause it has the potential to really change the way we watch movies. Dopplr, because it is a pretty intimate, purpose-built, extra-social social network (for travelers). And Freebase, which just has such a spectacular goal, and which seems a very promising way to get a grip on knowledge of all sorts.
