State of the News Media 2007 study is out

State of the News MediaThe Project for Excellence in Journalism‘s (PEJ) annual study State of the News Media is out – in its 4th incarnation. It’s one of the most (probably the most) comprehensive study about U.S. news and journalism. It features an nearly excessive amount of data and info to really indulge in, and also includes a very, very decent part about online communication – we’re talking online journalism, blogs, citizen media here – plus an extra section about digital journalism.

What’s new, as far as I remember, is the interactive charts & tables section, where you can mash up all the available data to your liking – how awesome is that??

And of course, all the data is reliable and fantastically presented – PEJ, formerly part of Columbia University, is affiliated with the ever-excellent Pew Research Center.
